Metro Station

We had the incredible opportunity to visit one of Riyadh’s most iconic landmarks—the King Abdullah Financial District (KAFD) Metro Station, a masterpiece designed by the legendary architect Zaha Hadid. Construction of the Riyadh Metro began in 2014, and after more than 10 years of development, this stunning station finally opened to the public. Known for its bold, futuristic form and flowing lines that reflect Hadid’s visionary style, the KAFD Station stands as a symbol of innovation and progress. As one of the key transport hubs in the city, it not only showcases world-class engineering but also elevates public infrastructure into a true work of art.
